Allt a-Mhuillin

The most common approach to the North-Eats face of Ben Nevis is along the Allt a-Mhuillin up to the CIC hut. which takes around 1½-2 hours. Over the years the path has come under considerable use , resulting in grave damage to the path and surrounding areas. At the moment the path has not been maintained in any order, and there have been many heated debates regarding access to the path and who should pay to have it repaired. However, Nevis Partnership have been raising money through sponsorship and donations to repair the path over the last year and with great success, with TNF (The North Face ) donating £50,000 over the next five years.
